Early life - Anjana Om Kashyap
Anjana om Kashyap was born on June 12, 1975, in the Bhumihar caste at Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand(India). Her father's name is om Prakash Tiwari. He was a famous doctor and worked on a short service commission with the Indian army. He even served during the Bangladesh war of independence.she also has one brother.her zodiac sign is Gemini.
She had done her primary schooling from Loreto Convent, a local catholic school, and then from Delhi public school, Ranchi. She opted for medical despite having no interest in it. She even prepared to appear for all India pre-medical test, but she failed to pass that exam. That's why she decided to pursue honors in botany from Daulat ram college, Delhi university.
Since childhood, she was a great debater and also had strong leadership qualities. She was elected as the head girl in both the schools and also became the president of her college hostel. She was a confident girl.
After her graduation, she did her post-graduation at the Delhi school of social work. She decided to give the civil services entrance exam (UPSC), but unfortunately, she faced failure to crack that. But she was determined to do something that could help in the betterment of society when she did a diploma course in journalism from the famous Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi.

Anjana's first job was as a counselor at the Daewoo motors. But she didn't like the post, and hence she resigned after a year. Then she joined an N.G.O. As a right concealer for slum -dwellers.
In 2003 she started her journalism career with the show Ankhon dekhi on Doordarshan. It was an investigating show but also had infrequent reporting duties as well. Then she resigned from Doordarshan and joined zee news.
At first, the channel found her lacking speaking skills and hence employed her in producing roles. She got a desk job holder for five years. But she was admired to become an anchor. Thus she worked very hard to improve her capabilities, and finally, after a few years, she passed the auditions with flying colors and became an anchor for special features.
In 2007, she even resigned from zee news. She became an anchor in Star news . but unfortunately, it shut down in few months. Hence, she moved to NEWS 24. She hosted the debate ''do tuk ''and even gained a wide range of popularity for her unbiased and equal attitude towards everyone present in the discussion.
Then she joined ABP news before moving to AAJ TAK .now she hosts the famous debate show " Halla bol "on AAJ TAK. Moreover, she is the executive editor of the Hindi news channel AAJ TAK .anjana has also acted in the great Bollywood films like "sultan" and "Tiger Zinda hai."
